Last night Amaral invited us to their concert at The Roxy, where their LA based fans filled the space. I literally could see the sparkle in the eyes of the people that were in the front row singing along to their lyrics, and I can tell how passionate the fans of this band that has sold 4 million albums around the world are. Logan and I were chatting with Eva Amaral, Juan Aguirre and the other members of the band, that performed a really amazing show. Highlights included a cover of Bowie's "Heroes" and the use of rare instruments such as tubes and the theremin. We all ended up eating next door at The Rainbow, altogether with the band's manager Miguel Jimenez, Antonio Martin (EFE) and his girlfriend Maria Argos, who arranged such a special night for us.
