BOMBSHELL! A SATIN PAJAMA PARTY

Before Lady Gaga. Before Gwen Steffani. Before Madonna. And yes, before Marilyn. Jean Harlow invented the role: Provocative, Blonde, Pretty, Trendsetter, Eccentric, little bit Crazy and always Cool. And we all dressed inspired by her and her role in the incredibly fun movie BOMBSHELL (1933) for the event that Gloria Ferrer and the Cinefamily team did last Saturday at the old Silent Theatre in Los Angeles: A satin pajama party! It was a very "Gloria" night, super girly, in style, towers of champagne, with male models pouring us pale pink glasses of bubbles, a pop up beauty salon by the exclusive Juan Juan salon, a photo booth, and of course the screening of Bombshell courtesy of the Warner Bros archive. It was so much fun plus felt like home, Cinefamily sets the theatre so it feels truly familiar, with couches and cushions! I loved it. We sipped Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut and Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs (my favorite!).
